Students' ability to follow directions the first time they are given has been a long-standing problem for teachers everywhere. This instructor-led training is designed to provide teachers with a research-based practice for direction giving that they could implement in their classrooms immediately. Learning Leaders, specialized, designated trainers within each school, could be expected to facilitate this training for K-8th grade teachers of all content areas during a scheduled professional development day prior to the start of a new school year.
